AGM 2022 Update

by | Feb 2, 2022

Last week, we held our AGM at Cricklade Town Hall.

We were really looking forward to it as it was the first opportunity for the Society’s Members to meet in person.  Roughly a quarter of our current membership of 125 (at the time of the AGM) turned up, which for an AGM was an excellent turnout!

The usual business of an AGM was conducted.  Retiring Directors, Terri Robertson and Bob Jones, were reappointed and both the Chair’s Report, and financial accounts, were noted.  The last item on the agenda was Member’s Questions – and this was a really lively session!  Hopefully, the Directors’ responses enlightened Members, and they left the meeting more informed than when they walked in!

For those that wish to learn more about the AGM, the draft meeting notes are now available to view on our website by clicking on this link: Governance & AGM | Cricklade Development Foundation (crickladefoundation.org.uk).

As ever, the Directors are extremely grateful to our Members for their contribution towards the purchase and renovation of the Old Police Station – and for the various offers of help.  We still need to raise around £100k for renovation works, but with the continuing support of the community, we are confident we can get there!

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, or wish to learn more about becoming a Member.   Contact us either by email: contact@crickladefoundation.org.uk or by phone on 07902 421756.  Thank you!
